Offering shelter to victims of domestic violence and abuse
Centered around a butterfly theme symbolizing transformation and resilience, the evening of May 7th highlighted the power of community, the growth and healing experience by survivors through Hope’s Door services, and the vital role advocates play in changing lives.
Guests enjoyed sunset cocktails, live music, dancing, and an auction, all in support of Hope’s Door’s mission to provide safety, shelter, advocacy, and long-term support for individuals and families affected by abuse.
The evening also honored St. Matthew’s Church for its longstanding commitment to Hope’s Door and unwavering support of survivors in the Westchester community.
“At a time when the realities of domestic violence are becoming increasingly visible, gatherings like this matter deeply,” said CarlLa Horton, executive Director of Hope’s Door. “they ensure survivors have access to the support they need and remind us all of our role in creating safer communities.”
