A HOPEFUL EVENING

The Restaurant at Kanopi, White Plains, NY – October 16, 2024

PLANTING SEEDS OF HOPE FOR A FUTURE WITHOUT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.

It was an unforgettable evening at Kanopi, in White Plains, hosted by the Hope’s Door Advisory Council. The evening was the highlight of October, domestic violence awareness month.

Guests enjoyed a breathtaking sunset against the skyline views and a culinary experience from Chef Anthony Gonçalves, who was a semi-inalist for the James Beard Foundation Annual Awards (Best Chef: New York State). Sponsors received exclusive access to the wine cellar and kitchen; all guests were able to participate in tarot readings and a Macallan tasting.  The importance of Hope’s Door’s mission was underscored by the inspiring story of a former client who successfully rebuilt their life and culminated in an uplifting candlelight concert.
