Phillip G. Morton joined Hope’s Door as Comptroller & Chief Financial Officer in 2008 after three decades of financial management experience in the non-profit and private sectors, with a focus on developing policies and procedures to improve performance and productivity.  Prior to joining Hope’s Door, Morton worked at Abbott House, Kaiser Permanente, Waldenbooks & James River Corporation.  Phil received a Bachelor of Science in Financial Accounting and minor in Psychology from the University of New Haven and a Graduate Certificate focusing on Not for Profit Leadership from Fordham University.

He is a trusted advisor and a nonprofit supporter, which led to him being named to the Board of Directors for the Family YMCA of Tarrytown, where he is the Treasurer.  Phil has also been named to Westchester County’s African American Advisory Board.
