On August 14, 2024, in partnership with the Bedford Playhouse and Connect to Northern Westchester magazine, we delivered an informative program on domestic violence to the community.

After a screening of the movie IT ENDS WITH US, three staff members from Hope’s Door participated in a discussion moderated by Gia Miller editor-in-chief of the magazine.  The panel focused on answering questions that raised by the movie content as well as facts about domestic violence.

The film is based on the novel by Colleen Hoover which was on the NYT best seller list, and stars Blake Lively.  The book was credited by the press as a novel that “powerfully illustrates the devastation of abuse – and the strength of the survivors.”
