Join us this October for our Annual Fall Luncheon!
Hope’s Door is celebrating our new Hope’s Door Legal Center.
In October 2018, Hope’s Door received a $1.9 million dollar federal grant award to launch the Hope’s Door Legal Center in December, 2018. Our attorneys are now providing legal representation for victims of domestic violence. Providing these legal services, in combination with everything else we do, enhances our ability to transform victims into survivors who thrive.
Join us October 18, 2019 for networking and silent auction from 11:15 am to 12:15 pm, followed by a 12:30 pm panel discussion during lunch. Our Director of Legal Services, Stacey Neumann, Esq., is putting together a panel featuring Michelle Kaminsky, Esq., Author of Reflections of a Domestic Violence Prosecutor: Suggestions for Reform; Amy Slotnick, Esq., APS Law, PC; David M. Ryan, Chief of Police Pound Ridge, NY; Maya Lloyd, Senior Domestic Violence Counselor, Hope’s Door; and Mia Pergolizzi, Esq., Attorney, Hope’s Door Legal Center.
We have created a composite case and will show the talent and collaboration among the various players, all of whom are working to help victims of domestic abuse.
