Offering shelter to victims of domestic violence and abuse
Hope’s Door, formerly the Northern Westchester Shelter, has been serving victims of domestic violence and their families throughout Westchester for 35 years. Originally started as a safe haven with few temporary beds, Hope’s Door has progressed into a multi-service domestic violence organization, with a multi-cultural 24/7 bilingual hotline and emergency shelter staffed with counselors that specialize in domestic violence. The shelter now houses up to 16 people at one time.
